Dear Root Farm Riders, Families, Volunteers & Community Supporters;

We hope you and your family are staying healthy during this pandemic, and look forward to
reopening our equine programs and seeing you all again. Our horses miss you and are awaiting
your return to lessons!

We know you all have been eagerly anticipating the reopening of The Root Farm, and we are
working diligently to create a plan and policies that keeps everyone (including our many
animals!) safe, as well as follows guidelines from regulating bodies. The safety of our staff,
participants, volunteers and animals is our number one priority.
Our programs and services- and their format- may be modified slightly to maintain social
distancing, use personal protective equipment and allow time to clean/disinfect appropriately, all
while continuing to provide quality and productive equine activities. Our equine program will
gradually reopen in phases based on rider and horse availability as well as support needed for
each rider. Please note these phases are tentative and subject to change at any time based on
guidelines from regulating bodies or determinations by Root Farm staff.

We will continue to post updates and share information about reopening plans for other
programs, visiting and volunteering on our Facebook page and website as we are currently only
reopening for lessons. If you have any questions or concerns in the meantime, please don’t
hesitate to contact Rodger Pape at (315) 534-8207 or Alexis Lalor at (315) 731-0985.

Thank you for your continued support and patience during these challenging times. As always,
we are committed to helping our community live, learn and grow and are excited to welcome
you all back!

Stay well, and see you soon.
The Root Farm staff
